Frequently asked questions
Before we step behind the camera, here’s exactly what you can expect when working with Kool Vision Media. These FAQs will help you plan like a pro, prep your property, and get the most value from your shoot.
How soon can you get here and when will I get the media?
We usually schedule shoots with 24-48 hours’ notice, and most clients get their photos/videos back by the next day. We even offer a Same-Day Turnaround add-on (for listing photos only) so that you can have media between 4 pm–10 pm the same day
Do I need to be on site during the shoot?
You don’t have to be there — we can work with a lockbox or access code. But we encourage you to be there if possible. Having the agent present helps with last-minute requests, staging decisions, or pointing out features you especially want to highlight.
What if the weather is bad — clouds, rain, overcast?
No worries — we include blue sky replacements by default so your listing still looks bright and inviting. If conditions are extreme, we’ll discuss alternatives so your media doesn’t suffer.
How do I prepare the property? What should be done before your shoot?
We offer a free property prep checklist to download and print. You can also send us any special requests (e.g. “feature this custom fireplace,” “avoid showing that wall”) before the shoot and I’ll make it happen.
How many photos/videos will I get? Is there a limit?
We don’t charge per photo. Instead, pricing is based on the square footage of the property.
As a rule of thumb:
0–2,500 sq ft → ~25–50 photos
2,500–3,500 sq ft → ~51–75 photos.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens — we get it. You can reschedule without a fee if you give at least 24 hours’ notice. Last-minute cancellations may incur a small fee to cover the time we had blocked off, but we try to be flexible and work with your schedule whenever possible.
